Jeffrey Bernstein and Alan Rosen merged their two successful 20 year accounting practices, in December 2007, to form an expanded, innovative new midtown firm that utilizes the most current technology, programs and practices available. With more than 100 years of combined experience, the new firm includes some of the most effective professionals, all of whom are dedicated to precision, detail, and knowledge of new and established law policies and practices; while incorporating the latest technological developments, strategies and cutting-edge resources.
The Company's mission focuses on the individual and specific needs of each client to provide the highest level of service in the most effective and cost-efficient manner.

Jeffrey Bernstein

Jeffrey Bernstein formed Bernstein Rosen & Company, PC with Alan Rosen in December 2007, after 18 years as a partner in the firm of Oram, Yelon & Bernstein, PC.
With more than 25 years of public accounting experience, Mr. Bernstein is able to draw on his extensive knowledge to answer client's tax planning and overall business questions, and help position them for future success. He specializes in small to mid size companies in a variety of industries with a concentration in service businesses, apparel and non profits. His ability to offer clients new and creative ideas and help them make better and more effective business decisions has made him a valuable asset to his clients. He has extensive experience in individual income tax preparation and planning.
Mr. Bernstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the State University of Oneonta.
Mr. Bernstein is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the New York State Society of CPA'S. He serves on the Board of the Entrepreneurs Organization of New York, an organization serving the needs of small business owners in the New York area. He also serves on other various charitable boards.
Alan Rosen

Alan Rosen formed Bernstein Rosen & Company, PC with Jeffrey Bernstein in December 2007, merging the firm he established in November 2005, Alan Rosen and Associates, LLC.
Prior to establishing his own firm, Mr. Rosen worked for over twenty years in the firm Joel Rosen, CPA, PC, where they specialized in audits and tax planning for a wide variety of clients in the field of real estate, the garment center and many others. He works closely with his clients and helps them in all avenues of their business, includng budgeting, cost cutting and tax strategies. His vast knowledge of the tax code has proven to be invaluable to his clients.
Mr. Rosen holds a certificate in Certified Public Accounting, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ithaca College, where he graduated in 1983. He is a member of the New York State Society of CPA's, and serves as director on various co-ops and condominium boards.
Joel Rosen

Joel Rosen has been with Bernstein Rosen & Company, PC since its inception in December 2007. Mr. Rosen has over 50 years experience and was president of Joel Rosen CPA, PC for over 30 years prior to joining the firm.
Mr. Rosen built his firm by providing accounting, auditing and industry business advisory services to numerous clients. His vast knowledge of the real estate industry has been critical in the relationships he has formed with real estate investors, co-ops and condominium boards.
Mr. Rosen is a Certified Public Account, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brooklyn College in 1957. He has been a member of the New York State Society of CPA's, since 1960.

Chris Pagluica

Christopher Pagluica has been part of the Bernstein Rosen & Company, PC team since their inception in December 2007. Prior to joining Bernstein Rosen & Company, PC, he worked at three other CPA firms. He first met Jeffrey Bernstein in 2003 when he was a staff accountant at Oram, Yelon & Bernstein, CPAs, PC.
With over eight years of public accounting experience at these diverse firms, he gained excellent experience in which he passes on to his clients. He specializes in corporate taxation for small to medium sized businessess as well as individual taxation ranging from high net worth individuals to children.
Christopher graduated from Wagner College on Staten Island, NY in 2001 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He was a member of Wagner's Division 1 Golf team and a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity during his tenure there.
Christopher is a member of the Bethpage Golf Club where he serves as treasurer on the Executive Committee.
Jonathan Glasner

Jonathan Glasner joined Bernstein Rosen & Company, PC in 2008 after spending more than 18 years as a tax manager at Rappaport Steele & Company, PC.
With more than 30 years experience in public accounting, Jonathan specializes in indivdual, corporate, estate and trust, real estate and small business clients. He has also done extensive work representing clients with the IRS, and has been instrumental in helping clients resolve tax disputes.
Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant, and received an MBA in Taxation from Pace University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administrtion from Drexel University.
Jonathan is a member of the New York State Society and has served on many New York State Society Committees including estate planning, international taxation and interstate taxation.
